WHO’S ELIGIBLE
Any high school located in Bronx County (Bronx), Kings County (Brooklyn), Nassau County (Long Island), New York/Manhattan County (Manhattan), Orange County, Queens County (Queens), Richmond County, Suffolk County (Long Island), or Westchester County that has published (either online or in print) a PLAYBILLder™ program for an officially licensed production OR a fictitious production used as a basis for a marketing project during the current academic school year.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Schools in the defined regions that create a PLAYBILLder™ for their production will be eligible for the PLAYBILLder™ Award for Marketing. Schools are encouraged to submit additional materials for consideration, including a brief paragraph outlining the goals and inspiration behind the marketing campaign; a description of student involvement in the campaign’s execution; links to or screenshots of social media posts, flyers, posters; and any other advertising materials created for the production.
Schools that did not have productions this year due to COVID-19 are invited to create a marketing plan for a fictitious production, including a program created on PLAYBILLder.com and the above supplemental materials.

All programs created on PLAYBILLder.com that are linked to the Roger Rees Awards-eligible schools automatically count as submissions for the PLAYBILLder Award for Marketing. Supplemental materials should be submitted via email to MarketingAward@playbill.com.
DEADLINE
Submissions must be received on or before Friday, April 2, 2021
SELECTION PROCESS
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges from Playbill, evaluating entries based on the quality of the PLAYBILLder™-created program, including layout, imagery, and text; level of student participation; creativity of any non-PLAYBILLder™ marketing materials; and excellence in community engagement through advertising featured within the PLAYBILLder™ program.

Dates for winning school notification and public recognition will be announced soon.
