The Broadway Education Alliance is proud to introduce this new award in the Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance portfolio recognizing the artistry and creativity of high school choral groups. The Harmony Helper® Mosaic Award for Group Performance Excellence rewards the talent, dedication, and teamwork essential in choral music.
Harmony Helper® is the only app that utilizes patented technologies to provide singers the convenience and control of a 24/7 digital rehearsal room anytime, anywhere. Accurate real-time feedback, sheet music scanning, vocal part customization, group sharing, and part volume control are among the comprehensive features that prepare singers to deliver their best performance.
All high schools located throughout the Greater New York region that have presented a virtual ensemble performance featuring a minimum of 4 students singing an approved licensed arrangement during the 2020-21 academic year are eligible for consideration in the student choral group category. The Roger Rees Awards region includes the following 11 Counties: Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), Nassau, New York (Manhattan), Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond (Staten Island), Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester.
All schools submitting students for consideration in this award (or other) categories must be registered with the Broadway Education Alliance. The annual program registration fee is $100 per school. The fee is waived for Title 1 schools. If your district requires you to submit a check request, please provide all essential information so that an invoice can be provided. If your district requires a lengthy turnaround time for check payments, please plan accordingly. No student submissions will be reviewed unless payment is received in full by March 12. Funds collected help to offset the administration costs associated with online audition submissions and adjudication.
Note: Harmony Helper® is offering complimentary access to the app to Roger Rees Awards registered teachers including, but not limited to those submitting video auditions for Harmony Helper® Mosaic Award consideration.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. This offer must be redeemed by April 16, 2021.
