Announcing the 6th Annual
PLAYBILLder™ Award for Marketing
Recognizing comprehensive and engaging marketing plans for a high school production that includes a Broadway-quality program created with PLAYBILLder.
THE AWARD
Playbill Inc. is proud to reward the creativity, design skills, and teamwork of high school students who work to promote their school productions. The winning school will receive a free PLAYBILLder PDF license, a commemorative framed copy of the winning program, and an editorial feature highlighting your school theatre department on Playbill.com.
AWARD ELIGIBILITY
High schools located throughout the Greater New York region that have published (either online or in print) a PLAYBILLder program for an officially licensed production OR a fictitious production used as a basis for a marketing project during the current academic school year are eligible.
BEA currently defines the Greater New York region as 11 Counties in New York including the Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), Nassau, New York (Manhattan), Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond (Staten Island), Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Schools are encouraged to submit their official Playbill®, along with additional materials that support the creative vision and mission for the project. This can include cover design concept, campaign goals and strategies, background on participating students, production poster, flyers, screenshots of social media posts, and any other advertising materials created for the production.

TO ENTER
All schools participating in the Roger Rees Awards that produce a program on PLAYBILLder.com will be automatically considered for this award. To augment the submission, please provide Playbill® with the supplemental materials defined above by emailing all the information to MarketingAward@playbill.com.

SELECTION PROCESS
The winner of the PLAYBILLder Award for Marketing will be selected by a panel of judges from Playbill. Submissions will be evaluated based on the quality of the PLAYBILLder-created program, including layout, imagery, and text; level of student participation; creativity of any non-PLAYBILLder marketing materials; and excellence in community engagement through advertising featured within the program.
AWARD PRIZE
The winning school will receive:
- A free PLAYBILLder PDF license
- A commemorative framed copy of winning program
- An editorial feature highlighting the marketing plan and the school theatre department as a whole on Playbill.com
